You will be part of a small, early start-up technology team building systems to power the Manna delivery platform. You should be willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done while having a high tolerance for ambiguity. You should be self-directed and comfortable operating independently with minimal oversight. This is an exciting opportunity to build technology from the ground up to fundamentally disrupt an established industry sector. The team is based in our Dublin office on campus at University College Dublin.

Software Engineer Role

We are looking for versatile engineers who are experienced building end-to-end SASS production systems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Avionic and Mechanical engineers to develop interfaces between the Manna software and hardware platforms. The platforms encompass an array of technologies and theories so we are looking for engineers who work well across different technology stacks.


  • Proposing, building, evaluating and improving the components Manna of the platform. This covers everything from order processing APIs to aircraft flight instructions
  • Develop production critical systems designed for resilience
  • GIS data ingestion, transformation, analysis, storage and visualization
  • Defining and improving the data collection process

Minim Requirements

  • 3-4 years’ experience building production systems
  • Expertise in a high-level language such as Java or C++
  • Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, model architectures, algorithms and patterns
  • API design
