Role: Java Software Developer

We’re looking for a strong Java software developer to join our team at Iconic Translation Machines, a well-funded, stable young company growing out of Dublin. The role will centre around building out the next generation of our on-demand cloud-based machine translation platform. The successful candidate will be involved in designing and developing a scalable architecture to meet the needs of our growing customer base and in the maintenance of existing software. The role will be extremely hands-on with a high level of autonomy required. Candidates must be effective communicators who feel comfortable liaising with senior management and the existing development team.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years commercial experience
  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Java Spring
  • REST architecture
  • Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, etc.)
  • MySql
  • Front-end development experience
